“Lord Tell Me to Come to You”

“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

 “Come,” he said.” (Matthew 14:28-29)

MELM were invited to preach the gospel for Muslim refugees’ women in a Christian center in Kfarshima. Some of these women are isis background. It was a privilege to speak to them about Jesus. The Bible passage was about “Jesus Walks on Water” in which they learned that Jesus is the Lord of Lords, The Omnipotent, the Merciful, and the only Savior. They learned that when we pass through difficult times we should pray to Jesus and say: “Lord, tell me to come to you…” and the Lords’ answer will be “COME!…”. The women were all ears, they listened carefully and they interacted with the Christian message. We pray that the Word of God they listened to, work in their hearts and lead them to the salvation in Christ.

Your Gifts Are a Fragrant Offering

“… I am amply supplied, now that I have received … the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. (Philippians 4:18)

Another mission to Bikaa valley where MELM went and distributed food packages to the refugees who lives in tents. We visited many camps where we had the chance to talk with the refugees and listen to their problems and tribulations. One of these refugees camps called “Em Mouhamad camp”, who we spiritually follow up on them regularly. They are always happy and thankful for receiving the food packages which fulfill their needs for a while. We MELM thank our good Lord for our generous donors who send their gifts to help who are in need. Knowing that every single donation you make is considered a fragrant offering, and acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God!

Yet He Has Not Left Himself Without Testimony

“Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”(Acts 14:17)

One of MELM tasks is to support the church, and refer people to church. Therefore, MELM always cooperate with pastors and congregations to help refugees and lead them to church. MELM relief reached Zahle, Lebanon area where we distributed 100 food packages to the refugees who are followed up by the church.  All these refugees are from non- Christian background, however, all of them attend the church in Zahle and hear about Jesus love and the salvation message on a weekly basis.  The Lord always allow His Word to be spread by His witnesses to the people who hadn’t yet heard about Him using the good and the bad circumstances. The refugees were delighted to receive MELM support and appreciated it a lot.
