Reaching out Syrian and Iraqi Refugees’ kids

In Beirut suburbs MELM prepared a program for Syrian and Iraqi refugees’ kids in Naaba center, where we had the chance to sing with them Christian songs, and to teach them about Jesus. In addition, the kids enjoyed watching the Puzzle Club Pet Napping Mystery DVD in which they learned how to love and accept each other, same way as God loves and accept us through Jesus Christ. The kids were blessed and happy to get the movie book story as a gift. At the end they prayed and asked Jesus to live in their hearts and be the Lord of their lives.

Camps Outreach Through Publications

It is the season when MELM visit camp centers to introduce the ministry work and publications to people who attend camps. Putting our MELM Christian publications in the hand of campers is a support for their Christian life, and a help for their personal spiritual growth, at the same time, the ministry benefits from the local support. MELM set a books display at Nabea el Safa camp center, Lebanon were many of participants visited our books stand and picked the book they need. Some of the participants were Sunday school teachers and pastors who were glad to find books and materials they are in need for their ministries.

Evangelzing Event

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)”

Christ died for all human beings, Red, yellow, black, white, and all nationalities regardless their religions, He was crucified to save all human kind.

MELM never leave an opportunity to witness about the mercy of God through Christ. Therefore, MELM took a role in an evangelism event called BC AD (before and after Christ). The event took place in Beirut suburbs in an area called Nabaa, where hundreds of Syrians, Iraqis, and Kurdish refugees attended to listen to the Good News. MELM took part in the event, where we displayed and distributed our Christian booklets that talked about dealing with the hardships and bad situation in addition to the Bible correspondence course “Jesus Christ”.

It was great to meet these people and talk to them about Jesus, and handing them a Christian publication which will show them the way to Christ. We were pleased to welcome them with a smile reflecting the Christian love, and at the end of the event many of them prayed and accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord and went home with a happy face and a new life to begin with Jesus.

“I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:7)”
