Christmas program

During the season of Christmas the MELM volunteers visited schools in Bikaa valey Lebanon where they showed the Red Boots for Christmas DVD. The students were very happy to recall the real meaning of Christmas and learn that greatest gift to us is when our savior Jesus was born. The film stories were distributed as gifts to the students who were very happy to receive them.

MELM Calendar 2013

The MELM yearly calendar for 2013 has a special theme that talks about the incarnation of Christ based on the Bible text: “… have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! (Philippians 2:5-8)”. The calendar also includes Bible correspondence courses enrollment track, and advertisements for several ministry publications. The MELM is preparing to distribute this calendar to friends and supporters in Lebanon and Egypt.

Outreach to university students

This year also Miss Katia Sahyouni our MELM public relation manager was invited to speak to the students in a religion class about the importance of God’s word to our lives at NDU, one of the Lebanese universities who hold a very good reputation. She used this opportunity to explain to the students about the Bible as a light to their life ways. “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path (psalm 119: 105)”.  The MELM contributed the Bible to each student in the class. The professor and the students were very grateful for the Bible and the care that MELM is presenting.
