MELM Calendar Reachs Iraq

The MELM Calendars are still under demand and people like it!  Therefore some volunteers took 400 copies of our calendar and distributed it in Iraq in order to reach out non Christians through the Christian message and the bible verses that it holds.  The calendar provides every day a new Bible verse to read and to meditate about; people were blessed to have it.

As we mentioned before, the calendar  theme aims to draw attention to Jesus “the living water” and to encourage believers to testify to others about our encounter with Him so they might come to Christ and have a changed life (as the Samaritan woman did!). The calendar includes also Bible correspondence courses enrollment tracts and advertisements for several publications.

Reaching out Orphans

“I dream to be with my parents”-Manal, “My dream to have an identity and family”-Alaa; ” My dream is to leave the orphanage and live with Hiba my caretaker”- Elham; ” I dream to have a home and family”-Zein; ” I dream to have a father and a mother”- Issam. These are some wishes and dreams that the Orphans at Kahali orphanage center have expressed to us, when we visited them to perform a Christian program. They wrote them on a paper and hanged them on a tree as a decoration. The MELM represented by Ms. Katia Sahyouni, and some volunteers, prepared a Christian program that contained a drama, games, bible verse memorization, and gave a Bible lesson explained to the kids about our good Lord who loves them the most and who is the real father and mother and friend to them. The Orphans were very happy to have this program and to learn from it. Also they felt so blessed to have a Bible story to keep and read in their private time.

Schools Outreach

The MELM audience relations team represented by Miss Katia Sahyouni and Mr. Mark Rahmeh visited several schools and shared devotions with them.

-What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?  (Roman 8: 31)  this was the theme of the devotion; that being with God is better than being alone as with him we have many assurances and there’s no fear on our present nor our future as we see his mighty hand in the past with his children. The students were blessed to learn the Bible lesson, and to know more about Christ’s love and care toward us.

MELM Calendar reach non Christians

The MELM volunteers distributed our calendar in Bikaa Valey which is an area that has the majority of its people coming from Muslim background. People liked the calendar and its theme. They hanged it on their wall at their houses. The calendar provides every day a new Bible verse to read and to meditate about; people were blessed to have it.

In addition the theme of the calendar aims to draw attention to Jesus “the living water” and to encourage believers to testify to others about our encounter with Him so they might come to Christ and have a changed life (as the Samaritan woman did!). The calendar includes also Bible correspondence courses enrollment track and advertisements for several publications.
