MELM mission in Syria

The MELM  volunteers in Syria prepared a Christian program for children from different background. They showed  “The Little Shepherd” movie, in addition to animation personalities, sang hymns and learned a lesson from the Bible! the children enjoyed the programs a lot  and requested the DVD story which they got as a gift with many candies.

Reaching out to Children

The MELM represented by Ms. Katia Sahyouni and others who are committed to volunteer to our ministry performed the Christmas program to Sunday school students  who live in Kiserwan area. The Christmas program  as usual for this year included a drama, games, a Christmas story, and a verse for memorizing. We also divided the kids into groups and each group had to visit a spot or a station where they learn about sin and salvation through Christ.  All the attendees enjoyed the program so much, and all requested the little shepherd story. The children were so blessed and learned about Jesus as the king and savior.

The MELM continue to visit schools to perform the Christmas program. The MELM represented by Ms. Katia Sahyouni and some other volunteers performed the Christmas program to group of kids who live in Hadath area; an area that is mixed with Christian and unchristian people. The Christmas program included a drama, games, a Christmas story, and a memorizing verse. All the attendees enjoyed the program so much, and all requested the little shepherd story. The children were so blessed and learned about Jesus as the king and savior.

New Year Calendars 2011

The MELM took part in spreading the love of Christ and the story of his salvation through the yearly calendar we produce. The calendar for 2011 has a special theme that talks about the Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well, especially since her life got changed. The MELM distributed the calendar to many people and many people are still requesting it.

The theme of the calendar aims to draw attention to Jesus “the living water” and to encourage believers to testify to others about our encounter with Him so they might come to Christ and have a changed life (as the Samaritan woman did!). The calendar includes also bible correspondence courses enrollment track, and ministry and publications advertisement.
