Ethnic Minsitry

Filipinos Ethnic ministry

MELM has a unique ministry to the ethnic philipino community who reside in Lebanon for work purposes. MELM printed many Christian-evangelizing tracks in English and tagalog (the Philippine official language) to be distributed to the Philippinos community inviting them to study the Bible and join a church.

Therefore the MELM Audience Relation team represented by Ms. Katia Sahyouni was invited to share a Christian presentation based on the word of God, on Sunday during the worship service. An outreach took place after the service, where we went all together to distribute evangelizing tracks to people and specially Filippinos. We were all blessed and happy worshiping God and serving Him the whole day. Many people on the streets were interested in the Christian message and had many questions about faith and solution, and were willing to learn more about Christ.

Outreach in Ain el Remaneh Area

The MELM was asked to help in an outreach made for the kids in Ain el Remaneh area-Lebanon. This area has a mixed population some are Christians and some are Muslims. The program was composed from drama and showing the Puzzle Club Pet-napping Mystery video and telling a Bible story to kids. The program was very successful and all the audience liked it and was blessed with a full Christian program. At the end we distributed a Bible story to kids as awards for their participation and interaction during the event.

Red Boots Showing in Beirut-Lebanon

Churchs still interested in our MELM DVDs to show them to their congregation. Therefore MELM volunteers organized a Red Boots show to  65 kids in Beirut area. The kids enjoyed the movie a lot and a good discussion took place with them. Children learned about the love of Christ and salvation which is the greatest gifts that might ever be received .
